Lesson 7: EbscoHost

Originally I searched for the term “running” and generated a list of results. I didn’t think about the verb form, and therefore I also got results that pertained to running a business. Once I narrowed my search and used the Boolean operator, I was able to still find several books on the sport or hobby of running. Some focused on recreation, physical fitness, training for races, as well as mental training.  I was really impressed with the number of resources as well as how easy it was to download the eBook. It was definitely user-friendly!

Some titles I found that pertained to Constitution Day were, A Companion to the United States Constitution and Its Ammendments, The Illustrated Dictionary of Constitutional Concepts, and The Constitution of the United States of America. I wasn’t able to find too much for a younger audience, and didn’t generate any results when I tried limiting my search for a juvenile audience. This would definitely be useful for secondary students and teachers (when working with this particular topic.)

Following these instructions and entering “Nebraska” in the search field, I was able to generate 88 e-Books that related (some more closely than others) to this topic. Most were about the historical battles and cultures of the Indian tribes.
